TAPROOM FAQ
Q: Where can I park?
A: We have no parking spaces of our own; people parking in spaces owned by other businesses on the St George Industrial Estate do so at their own risk. You can park nearby in Tesco Extra for £6.50 for 24 hours (Payment by phone only).
Q: Do you have a shop?
A: Yes you can come and visit us during the ‘collection/shop times’ on this page. The shop / collections will be open even when the taproom is closed.
Q: When can I collect my order?
A: See the collection/shop times on this page.
Q: Are you open for Portsmouth FC home games?
A: We are open at least an hour prior to every PFC home kick-off, even where that falls outside of our regular opening hours. Note that this may alter certain menu availability across both food and drink, if in doubt just drop us a line!
Q: Do you offer brewery tours?
A: We’re currently training up the next generation of Brewery Gurus to get our tour game up to scratch – watch this space!
Q: Are pets welcome?
A: Generally our taproom is very pet friendly, with free dog treats, water bowls, and fawning team members! However we restrict pet attendance at our events unless noted, simply as they can tend not to be suitable environments for our diminutive friends
Q: Are children allowed?
A: Children (i.e. anyone under the age of 18) are welcome if accompanied by a responsible (Not drinking) adult UNTIL 20:30. We also have baby changing facilities in our accessible loos.
Q: Do you serve drinks other than beer?
A: Yes we serve a selection of wines supplied by our local wine wholesaler as well as cider, quality spirits, soft drinks, and some cracking filter coffee.
Q: Do you have disabled facilities?
A: Yes we have full disabled access on the ground floor to the main taproom as well as accessible toilets. However accessibility to upstairs facilities is by stairs only as we do not have a lift.
Taproom Code Of Conduct
At Staggeringly Good, we believe that great beer is best enjoyed in great company. To ensure a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for everyone—staff and guests alike—we kindly ask all our visitors to follow this Code of Conduct during your time in our taproom.
🌟 Respect Everyone
Be kind and courteous: Treat fellow guests and staff with respect. We’re all here to enjoy good beer and good vibes.
No hate or harassment: Discrimination or harassment of any kind—based on race, gender, identity, orientation, disability, religion, or anything else—will not be tolerated.
Personal space matters: Please be mindful of others’ space and comfort. Unwanted physical contact or persistent attention is never okay.
🍺 Drink Responsibly
Know your limits: Enjoy our beers, but please drink mindfully. Over-intoxication is unsafe and may result in being asked to leave.
No outside alcohol: For everyone’s safety (and to follow the law), outside alcohol is strictly prohibited.
Underage drinking is a no-go: Guests under 18 are welcome before 20:30, but they won’t be served alcohol—no exceptions. We run a Challenge 25 policy, so if you appear under that age but don’t have any ID you won’t get served.
🐾 Be Pet & Family Friendly
Children are welcome until 20:30, but please supervise them at all times. Our bar staff should not be expected to look after your children.
Dogs are welcome but they must be leashed, well-behaved, and under control.
🧼 Take Care of the Space
Clean up after yourself: Help us keep the taproom clean for everyone.
Respect our property: Please don’t damage or remove taproom items, and treat the space like it’s your own.
Dispose responsibly: Use rubbish, recycling, and food waste bins correctly.
🎵 Keep It Chill
Volume matters: Please keep noise to a reasonable level—whether it’s your conversation, laughter, or phone speaker.
Live music or events? Great! But always be mindful of others enjoying their time too.
🚫 Zero Tolerance Policy
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone not following these guidelines. Guests who are disruptive, aggressive, or unsafe may be asked to leave without a refund.
❤️ Thanks for helping us keep our independent brewery and taproom a welcoming space for everyone. Cheers!
