The Staggeringly Good Pub Quiz

Finally, a pub quiz as Staggeringly Devious as it is Good!
Put your mental mettle to the test across several rounds spanning a variety of topics, with physical challenges planned alongside traditional trivia! Handcrafted in-house by Team SG, we took what we enjoy about other pub quizzes and turned the ‘crafty’ dial to ‘considerably’.
Taking place every other Wednesday (next quiz due on 6/5/26) from 7pm, we’ll be throwing the doors open to all comers whether quizzing or just after a cheeky half or four, but do note that booking a table for the quiz is strongly recommended due to finite physical space – whilst we’ll make every effort to accommodate walk-in quizzers it may not always be possible.
Entry is charged at £10 per table, with a cap of 6 people to keep things fair. Expecting fewer in the group? Per-person entry is allowed at £3 per head. (Entry costs payable on the day)
The quiz is anticipated to run from 7pm – 10pm, with the taproom itself open from 6pm. Want a drink without having to think? We’ll be open generally on that day to participants and public alike.
Note that per our licensing objectives, under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times, and are required to be off the premises no later than 20:30. Food options may be reduced from usual levels – please contact Bear Bones BBQ to confirm what will be on offer
