BREWERY ASSISTANT & DRAY
This is a part-time to full-time, hourly position; combining responsibility for assisting with brewing, packaging, cleaning and maintenance activities of the brewery, and dray to local delivery radius venues.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for Craft Beer, and a basic understanding of the brewing process.

Full UK driving license required.

Must be able to lift kegs & cask and perform the physically demanding duties of brewing.

Responsibilities include:
• Clean brewing kettles, fermentation vessels and packaging equipment, including casks
• Clean and maintain all brewing areas and equipment in top condition
• Packaging beer from tank into can, keg, cask
• Packaging finished beer ready to ship via Courier/Haulier, including building pallets
• Driving company vehicle to make beer deliveries to local delivery venues
• Assist with and learn all stages throughout the brewing process
• Able to work alone or with others as schedules and staffing allow
• Follow brewing procedures to help produce consistent finished beer of the highest quality
• Able to work on a flexible schedule as production needs dictate
• Participate in brewery activities and events
• Be a promotional spokesman for the company (This is part if everyone’s job description)
• Other duties as assigned

EVENTS & SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
This is a part-time to full-time, hourly position; responsible for booking, planning, promotion & marketing, and smooth running of our taproom events schedule, including but not limited to beer festivals, brewery tours, live music, wrestling, burlesque, live sport, markets, cinema, private parties, weddings, and much more – as well as managing marketing material for all events, including full social media for the venue.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for events including all of the above, Craft Beer, and experience in the events sector, preferably with experience in booking larger scale events (festival management, booking agent, music promoter etc), and will be keen to create fresh, alternative events & experiences that go against the mainstream & the generic.

Please note this is NOT an entry level role.

Strong organizational skills a MUST.

Our venue includes a 400 capacity venue upstairs, and a 120 capacity taproom downstairs, with a view to growing our already established calendar of both in house, and external promotion, events.
The candidate will also work on occasional large scale off site events.

Responsibilities include:
• Events booking, planning, promotion, marketing and general organisation
• Building on our already established promoter network to increase events calendar
• Make sure that insurance, legal, licensing, and health and safety obligations are followed
• Establishing fees, riders, contracts with promoters/acts
• Work with promoters to ensure full marketing material available (physical and digital)
• Full social media for the venue/events, and growth of those social media channels
• Coordinate artists/bands/other , handle client queries and troubleshoot on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly and to budget
• Organise staff briefings, security, traffic control, first aid, videographers/photographers, hospitality, media etc. where required
• Set up ticketing for internally run events
• Budgeting & profit margin planning

TAPROOM TEAM MEMBERS
This is a part time, hourly position, helping our taproom and events space give the best beer experiences around. You will need to show excellent customer service, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment, with knowledge and passion for craft beer, and quality in craft beer, as a spokesperson for Staggeringly Good beer.

Responsibilities include:
• Serve customers from the bar
• Greet customers and create a welcoming atmosphere
• Use a till to take orders and payments
• Set up and break down for taproom events in all areas
• Maintain an appropriate level of cleanliness across the site
• Maintaining knowledge on current trends within craft beer
• Assisting with brewery tours & tastings
• Assess customer needs and preferences, and make recommendations
