IT’S TIME TO MAKE SOME ‘NOIZE’ WITH THE READY TO ROCKERS!!!!
READY TO ROCK SCHOOL is appearing at the excellent STAGGERINGLY GOOD BREWERY for their Spring Charity Gig, with a full ‘6 HOUR ‘ rock marathon, featuring the young, teenage and adult rockers from their four rock schools in Havant, Waterlooville, Petersfield and Portsmouth. Twelve bands, 65 musicians and some very special guest vocalists too!!
Ready To Rock School’s founder, Mark Thompson-Smith B.E.M., once again leads the RTR School tutors and students for their first big rock marathon charity gig of the year, raising funds for THE LORD MAYOR OF PORTSMOUTH’S CHARITY APPEAL.
The appeal raises money two charities, namely ABBEY’S HEROES and POMPEY IN THE COMMUNITY.
ABBY’S HEROES is a Hampshire based csmcer charity that helps and supports children, teenagers and their families, including bereaved families, who come under the care of the Piam Brown and the Teenage and Young Adult (TYA) wards at Southampton General Hospital.
They also offer welfare, financial, counselling and practical assistance, as well as providing opportunities to make lasting memories for the families. www.abbysheroes.org – charity registration No. 1170676
POMPEY IN THE COMMUNITY is an award-winning charity which harnesses the motivational power of Portsmouth Football Club to promote education, healthy living, sporting participation and achievement among vulnerable and disadvantaged people of all ages.
The charity runs a variety of inclusive educational and sporting courses and programmes, to assist their clients to improve their overall welbeing, in order to gain confidence and skills that will help them to succeed in the world of work.
The charity also donates and distributes much need provisions to the numerous food banks across the Portsmouth area.

The music kicks off at 12.00 noon on SUNDAY 30th of MARCH 2024 and is open to the public.
